I think folk will find their view of British values overlap with other, yet have differences. Which is fair enough as we all have different life experiences. Personally I think, as a Brit, I can hold conflicting values as I believe one can work out priorities depending on a situation. One value need not always be supreme. It's a changing variable world we cope with.
British values are indefinite depending on whom you are talking to among the nation, whether it is what they want them to look/sound like in public (appearance) or strictly in private, whether it is what others deduce from British behaviour, etc., etc. In short, they are indeterminate and change with time and circumstance to render any suggested lasting/defined collection irrelevant.
