Otley West Yorkshire In 1948/49
Does anyone know the name of a pharmacy in Otley in 1948. I went to school at Prince Henry’s Grammar 1948/49 and it was on our walking route from the bus to the school. I used to buy photographic chemicals there. I’m pretty sure the name began with F. Fairfax or Fawkes or something like that

The West Yorkshire History Centre (and/or the Leeds Archive Service) might well have trade directories from that period.
