Ted Bundy? that's a guess.
You said them plural, my guess would be Hillside stranglers, Bianchi and Buono

Pedantic I know, but the examples given are actually for serial killers (Those who kill people separately over a certain time frame).

A Mass murderer is technically someone who kills lots of people in one place.

I don't know the answer, but let's assume you do actually mean serial killers - this link provides info on the more notorious by country.

I did think something "Nazi-ish" to be honest with you..maybe the Boys from the Brazil, but can't find anything like arrest leading from a movie.

Checked out the hillside stranglers. dont think its right, but may enter anyway -a movie was involved in the capture of one but not the other, and yes, would they be considered "mass murderers".

difficult!

Thanks for the help though

Phil

I don't know, but I guess perhaps the Zodiac killer? He murdered a few people in the 1970s, but it was only a few years ago that anyone was arrested or charged with any of the murders.
