So this is the year that The Bible Code predicts as Armageddon when the World will be destroyed.

Has anyone started spending up to their credit limits yet?

How do you think the End will come? Can't see an atomic bomb wiping out the World- it could affect some areas, but not the whole World, surely?

Needless to say I took the day off and got completely plastered in my local.. not really b-cos I believed it, it was just an interesting excuse to bunk off work and get drunk.

There is no conclusive proof either way about global warming, mean sea level rises or the reduction of ice mass at the poles...

I do agree we need to change our ways, particularly in view of pollutants but quoting things you've been told by the media is allways dangerous.

No propecy, as far as I'm aware, that has been verifiable before the event has come to pass has ever been made. But apparently, lots that aren't have come true - how weird. People can feel free to correct me, or they could stop needing to believe in such fairy tales.

I've read the bible code and as far as I can make out, the Jewish bible, Torah, (sorry if the spelling is wrong) has been translated as a computer programme, you ask it a question, ie when will the world end, the computer then finds the answer via a grid (up, down forwards backwards or diagonal or any random way).

It is so random as to be completly nonsence. On that theory you can ask the same question and get hundreds of diffrent answers. It is a book designed to make the author rich, he even published Bible Code 2. If you belive the book you may as well belive the Da Vinci code or any other Dan Brown book

Even if there is an end of days there is nothing that anyone can do directly to stop it, so my advice to you guys/girls is to live every day to its fullest and enjoy the rest of, not matter how long or short, your life..
