What did the Nazis do for us?
A sensetive point I know but remember the Romans were far from angels and it's okay to ask the same question about them.
What positives for the world came from the Nazi rule?
I'll start: Affordable personal transport, i.e. Volkswagen.

From their wartime work we can trace a direct line to the home computers we are all sitting in front of now.
It could be argued they helped put the man on the moon.
Werner von Braun worked for the nazis designing their jet engines for V2 and jet aeroplanes.
At the end of the war the US spirited him away to the USA where he designed many of their rockets.
He was still involved in designing the rockets when they sent man to the moon.
It is unlikely that without the Nazis and the war he would have found his way to the USA.

Absolutely spot on! And to think that he was laughed out of London when he pitched his idea to the penpushers and ended up funding the building of Collosus out of his own pocket. Still, I suppose genius must be hard to recognise when one is confronted with it.

Unfortunately that gave terrible people like those in power in the US an excuse to help kick out the ALLENDE'S socialist government of chile that the people loved in a fair election so they would have easier access to exploit other countries of south america like venezuela for oil, to declare the gulf war for oil to start a war with iraq solely for oil.
