Muuslims count their years from the Christian year 622, when Mohammad and his followers went to Medina. He lived from 571 to 632.

strange how islam has latched on to christian dates etc..gabriel is a christian angel, why is it in islam? why is the koran written like the bible is? wy does the koran incorporate christan phrophets? is it because islam is really a religion which copied christanity in parts to try and get people to

turn away from the only true religion which is christianity..no offence intended though.
