Aircrew second world war

Does anyone have any info on the lives of aircrew who flew in the second world war, especially rear gunners, (tail end charlies) and anyone who flew in Burma at the end of the war. I am trying to research it. I would really like to hear some first hand accounts

I used to know a chap who was rear gunner in a Lancaster. He never talked about it much (not surprisingly), but he did say one of his worst memories was seeing the faces of the pilots he shot before they went down.

Dont know where you live barney's pal but currently at the imperial War Museum North there is an exhibition dedicated to bomber command and there have been many first hand accounts in the local papers over the last couple of weeks.
