Thank you for answering my quuestion on Petticoat Iane sunday market. I want ro research the history of some of the traders working at the market from 1950+ , but do not know where to go to find this info. If you can point me in the right direction I would be most wellcom.

Trying to find something for you - I do know that Alan Sugar started his working life at that market.
All I can find is the address and telephone number of the relevant archives office:

The LOCAL HISTORY & ARCHIVE is at 277 Bancroft Road, E1 and is open Tue & Thurs 9-8, Fri 9-6 and Sat 9-5. Tel 020 7364 1290

They will certainly have detailed records of the market traders.
