How do you think todays conflicts - esp "middle east" will eventually pan out.

It's difficult to really know what the truth is unless you really know the historical past and have access to all sides rather than watching Sky News.

I think the US / Israel / UK forces will prevail and tighten their grip on the middle east. Iraq will be a mess for years.

I think, because of human nature, and our 'supposed' free will, there will always be conflicts of one sort or another, some, like major wars, more dangerous to our existance than others, thats why we have rules and regulations,

Eventually, and here's the voice of doom and gloom speaking, the more powerful the weapons, the more chance of a fanatic, or fanatical state starting something that will wipe us all out.

Your right though, about knowing about the past, we learn from history, but as new generations spring up, they tend not to do that,
i have been and probably always been pro american, but how can they try too help make peace when they are suppling israel, with bombs???
lonnie, i am 12 and your voice of doom and gloom is making me scared what do u mean are we all gonna die in a war
the world has always been at war wii man, yet we are all still here so don't worry
The world's annihilation will be started in the middle east, as Nostradamus predicted. He "predicted" the third world war will be started by a man from "Greater Arabia" leading an invasion across Europe. It apparantly started just before 1999 and will last 27 years. He also predicts that the first target of a new, horrible weapon will be in the New World at 45 degrees (New York). However, Powers of the northern hemisphere will unite and its two great leaders will be friends, the New Land will be at the height of its power.
Of course, Nostradamus's predictions are open to lot of interpretation. I, personally, don't pay much heed to them but there does seem to be a few similarities, especially when you consider his predictions on Napoleon and Hitler. It does seem, however, that the Middle East is a good starting place for a massive war.
