In the book of meanings for the Rider Tarot Deck, can anybody tell me what it means when it says:- Reversed.

It means the meaning of the card is basically the opposite of the normal way - some readers don't use reverse meanings - I don't know why.

though some cards reversed mean the same as upright - you need to look into the meaning of each

You also need to consider the cards around it and whether they too are reversed or not, it doesn't generally do to read a card's meaning in isolation.

Go with your intuition! If a card is reversed you may want to interpret it as being the opposite of the card's usual meaning.

In general, don't let the cards dictate your responses - allow them to prompt your intuition.
