sorry if i didnt spell that right, but alot of people question ghosts, ufo's, big-foot, yetti, loch-ness, etc but if actual video evidence was to be broadcasted that these things existed, would there be mass hysteria

I have video evidence of Loch Ness. Took it a few years ago. It's a bit hazy but you can just make out a large body of water between some hills.

no, there would be a mass outbreak of trying to figure out how to make money out of them. The profit motive comes first. Unless the UFO was actually in my living room, of course, then I'd be worried.

There must be millions and millions of video cameras and mobile phones with built-in cameras in the world, so why are the media not being inundated with video evidence?

These days, every time there is a major incident such as the London bombings, people (even if they find themselves in a desperate situation) have the presence of mind to start filming and subsequently send the result to television companies. So where are the monsters?

Actually joking aside, if there were video evidence many people would still not believe it as the explained truth. You only have to look at all the video �evidence� demonstrated so far to realise that the footage can be explained away by naturally occurring phenomena or human intervention. Whilst we have real footage of things like the 911 attacks and 7/7 London bombing, there are millions of people who believe that these are conspiracies orchestrated by internal government bodies. So even with the latest up to date, detailed, unequivocal, evidence, it is unlikely that there would be major hysteria as half the population wouldn�t believe it as fact. However, something like a nuclear attack or natural phenomena (not supernatural) such as a tsunami or a major meteorite hurtling towards earth (a la Armageddon with Bruce Willis) is more likely to disrupt someone enjoying a cup of Earl Grey in the morning.

There's a very interesting 'statistic' about these things. If 99.999999999% of them are fakes, or explainable, then that still means they exist!
