mallory, the answer probably is on the net; as are the answers to about 98% of the questions asked on this site but some people just prefer to find the answer off another human being and some things can be hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for.

Cruzloco, I think Mallory - along with a whole bunch of other CAB Quiz enthusiasts, is simply getting frustrated with your persistent refusal to accept the spirit of the CAB Quiz. The idea is that we RESEARCH the answers. The Quiz as published on CABLink clearly states, from the Quiz setter, "Naturally surfing the internet for answers is permitted but can I please ask you not to just post the questions on the net � that really is not in the spirit of the quiz."
I do know how to read, you do what you have to do and ill do what i have to do, just enjoy yourself and stop assuming what people do! I really dont know how 3 people make a bunch but i can tell you that answerbank is not the only means of searching or getting answers ive only got 4 and even if i do get an answer i always search for it after. Anyway it has nothing to do with you or anyone else, get a life and enjoy it dont get fustrated its just a game. Mallory is getting on peoples nerves and its more than 3! Enjoy yourself and let people be! Good luck in your quiz, weve already completed ours.
I am surprised that your idea of enjoyment Mr cruzloco is at the expense of some, perhaps many of your good colleagues at the CAB. However I would have no objection to what you are doing, if you had not given a solemn promise of confidentiality before being accepted into the CAB. Does it not follow that if the quizmater requested that these questions should not be posted on the internet you have breached this trust. I am pretty sure you will not accept this point of view, it just leaves me to wish you good luck with your 100 answers, a very happy xmas and hope my goodwill message is able to reach your planet.....
Honest Joe you are not honest at all. I can say that you do take things to extremes, i mean how dare you say im enjoying myself at the expense of others. You knowing so much about cab should not judge people by the cover of their book and should listen to both sides of the story. So there you are stop harrassing me and others. My, my, Cruzloco, you are really living up to your name. Glad to see you know how to read, shame you didn't understand what you read on that occasion, try practising on a few books - they can be found in bookshops. You didn't HAVE to post the answers on the net, and by 'a whole bunch of people' I was referring to all the people from our local CABx who share the fact that they get thoroughly fed up when their Internet searches get punctuated by stuff from the Answerbank and other Quiz Answer sites. This is not about whether you 'cheated' or not. This is about people who like to research their answers - without stumbling on them in quiz chats. That's the fun of the CAB Quiz. Why don't you just accept you ignored the Quiz-setter's request? Happy to know at least one Bureau has got all the answers - and I am sure yours will be writing that some of them came from the Answerbank when you send them in.
Hang on......This is being a bit unfair to us regular Answerbank users ....how are we to know what quiz this is from ..suppose one of us had inadvertantly answered this ? Would we be in for a tongue lashing from the people who do this quiz.I've heard of competetiveness but policing a web site just to argue the toss over a quiz is ridiculous.

The mid-length answer is "No, of course not. Why would anyone want to "police" regular Answerbank users? And how could anyone police them, anyhow? It's a quiz site, for goodness sake. Pax vobiscum, Merry Xmas, Happy New Year.
And the long answer is (and by now you really shouldn't be reading this unless you are remotely involved in that particular Quiz competion, because otherwise if you got this far you would need supplementary breathing equipment) that the original disagreement here was just among the contestants of that Quiz - arising in the first instance from Cr's decision to post questions on Answerbank in spite of the Quiz setter's very specific request NOT to post questions on any Quiz site.
Ma. pointed this out to Cr. each time this happened, and Cr. reacted. Two regular Answerbank subscribers decided to join in, and got heated about Ma. That was their choice - they didn't have to write anything at all.
Then some more of us got heated too, as you may have noticed.
What amazes me is that anyone outside this specific Quiz is remotely interested. It's just a disagreement within a tiny portion of the population, and it will probably happen every time the Quiz appears.

Each year there are 100 questions, set by the generous individual who (presumably) puts a lot of thought into making this a challenging-but-fun quiz, and who (indubitably) knows that the contestants are trained to research answers to tricky questions.
In recent years people�s research skills have developed to include the IT User's Friend, viz. the Boolean search on keywords over the Internet. Use of Mr Boole�s legacy is to be encouraged. And in certain circumstances, posting a direct question on a Quiz Answer Site - such as this one � gets as good a result as that which would be obtained by the boolean approach. And often much faster.
But the thing is, the Quiz Setter did make one request, which was:
