Is it true that two of the four cowboys who stood their ground against the Earps in this celebrated gunfight were actually unarmed?

As far as i know, only one was possibly unarmed a Tom McLaury. He was shot by Doc Holliday but no gun was found on his person as i think it was confiscated a few days earlier. But he may have attempted to get one from another of his gang at the time of his being shot.
According to this, both Ike Clanton and Tom Mclaury were unarmed, and Mclaury was shot by Wyatt Earp,
