The Battle of Amiens?
The first tank to engage in battle was D1, a Mark I British tank used during the Battle of Flers-Courcellette (part of the Battle of the Somme), on the 15 September 1916.

No! Not the Somme! The Somme was the FIRST time they were used. Ameins sounds right to me. x
Cambrai was the 1 successful use of Tanks but in 1917
