Blood Red Rose?!?!!!!

I was talking to my frnd yes. and I said have u ever seen the color of blood on snow (as bad as this might sound) it is beautiful and she was looking at me like I had 6 heads and I said that is where the expression "A Blood Red Rose" got its name. Even people who work with crime hate to admit it and won't (but someone did notice it with me once) that the color of blood is such a beautiful dark color of red BLOOD RED But then Burgundy has always been my favorite color since I was a little girl. If anyone has a thought, expression or more knowledge that would be great. DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY I HATE VIOLENCE--- IT APPALS ME That Is One Reason why i pray everyday and night. Thanks
