Cain.

He killed his brother, Abel.

Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve. As Adam and Eve were the first people on Earth, when they had their two sons the population was only 4.

So by killing one person, Cain killed a quarter of the population.

I don't think the Bible ever does mention Cain's wife, but she might have been born by then, before marrying her brother.
