A city or shouild i say it was.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy
It was a City that was surrounded by the Greeks for ten years (it is in NE Turkey)and the Greeks built a huge wooden horse as a parting git after giving up besieging the city, the horse was wheeled into the city but the greeks had hidden inside and they snook out and attacked and took the city, it is also famous for helen of Troy, who's face could launch a thousand ships apparently, Brad Pitt looks good in a skirt too.
I have known this story since i was 8 years old, what do they teach in school now?
I'd change your username, mate
That's a fabulous picture of the supposed Wooden Horse of Troy - but you'd think, with a house on its back, they might have been a touch suspicious that someone was at home really, wouldn't you?!!!
This story has given rise to the phrase "Trojan Horse". In more recent times this, as I'm sure many people know, is a generic type of computer virus so called because it gets inside your machine by devious methods.

The story is also the origin of the phrase "beware of Greeks bearing gifts". This is used to encourage suspicion when a supoposedly good deal is offered by a party from whom you should expect worse.
Ah, but juliacornwal, following the best and oldest advice the Trojans didn't look the gift horse in the mouth.

If they had, they might have spotted summink was up.
I like that Octavious.
I didn't hink it was actual, thought it was just a legend but not proven! Could be wrong!
