Stuff you lot says he, I am not paying taxes on my massive earnings for driving round a big boys go-kart track.

I am off To the Swiss land cos I am fed up of signing autographs.

Well sod off then and the worst of luck to you,
you would have shot as a traitor in wartime Britain.

I think you'd get fed up with fans if you were trying to urinate in a public loo and people kept asking for your autograph. Good luck to him I say.

Bad luck to him and I hope he has terrible bad luck in Switzerland, the unpatriotic traitor.
for once in my life i agree with Doc.
He reminds me of tiger woods and not just to look at -smug and self satisfied and no grace
Question Author
Cheers Bednobs, appreciate it.
He is not going because of intrusive fans, he is going to take advantage of the Swiss Tax system and save himself a huge brundle of money.

I too have become a little disappointed with the now aloof young man Hamilton. The excuse that he feels smothered in the UK is a little hard to swallow given the relatively small amount of time he would spend in Blighty. Furthermore it is the British motor racing that will have provided a large proportion of the millions he now plans to squirell away in Switzerland. Ungrateful Barsteward.
I am also a tax exile, gonna stuff me too???
Jenson Button and David Coulthard live in Monnte Carlo don't they?

Why the fuss about Hamilton moving away? Were you planning on popping round for tea?
I must admit to feeling very disappointed in him. It was so great to have a really good young British sportsman to get patriotic and enthusiastic about. He could have waited a few more years and shown a bit more loyalty to his fans.
i hate to say it but i agree with the doc here too.

I hope Button wipes the floor with him next season :)

(is button still in it???)

oh yeah and stuff neti too :) lol
what? buttons bugg3red off too???

Jenson Button has lived in Monte Carlo for years now.
makes me laugh anyone having a favourite formula one driver they are money grabbing arrogant out of touch tosspots, he has a weird face hamilton almost like it is carved out of marble theo walcott has the same
Question Author
Seems a lot think the same.
Put yourselves in his place . If you had loadsa money ..would you stay here and let the chancellor tax you to kingdom come .
I don't think so .There are a lot of famous tax exiles ..I don't blame them .If I had millions of wedge I would be off like a shot .He's earned it ..given a lot of people good entertainment .
Live and let live ..it just boils down to jealousy in my opinion .
He's a young lad with a big future ahead of him . I can't drive a racing car or punt a golf ball into the appropriate hole but I admire people who can and what they do with their money is their affair .Good luck to him.
he gets asked for his autograph in a petrol station! aww the poor wee lamb god help him no wonder he is running off to Switzerland, imagine that, having more money than you will ever need yet having to sign a piece of paper in a petrol station!
I don't think it's anyone elses business what he or anyone else does with their lives or their money.

It's just a shame that Mike Read didn't live long enough to enjoy his well earned retirement in Spain.

Question Author
Mike Reid, well that was a great loss to the nation.
I never really understood how motor racing could be called a sport... surely the car does all the work?
CD I think you have little conception of an F1 car. The performance is SAVAGE, like nothing you can conceive of from even the fastest road car. I drove in F1 for a while (only as a test driver for a middle team) and believe me these things go like sh!te off a shovel, drop your foot in second and it's like someone has hit you in the back with a sledgehammer. Cornering forces are painful - look at the size of an F1 driver's neck muscles.

Lewis ? Shame he is going, but he does seem altogether too perfect. It IS annoying being pursued by autograph hunters, but you learn to tolerate it, and if they follow you into a public loo just turn round and spray them a bit.
