What is the official name for the French Secret Service? Information about where they're based or what the organisation they belong to is called would also be useful.

Thanks,

The Deuxime Bureau WAS the French Secret service up until 1940 and the fall of France. Various successor organisations have led to the formation of the DGSE. It's part of the Ministry of Defense and has a main base in Paris (XXe arrondissement). It has satellite base at Noisy-le-Sec in the suburbs.
