Reminder of my youth in far east......man on bike tinkling bell would place block of ice on wood lathe and shave off pieces into an ice ball. Then sprinkle fruit juices (strawbs, orange, pineapple) and sell for 5cents to us kids. $2=�1 now!

I had such experiences like that too Terambulan. And for a couple pennies more you could have condensed milk drizzled on top. Those days one never thought about calories....
