I would like to know if there are any ghost sightings/known ghosts/paranormal goings on in nassington, for my interest as i have recently moved here and am interested in such things, thankyuo

Try the local book shop, here we have an author called Tom Slemen whose written a seies of very popular books called "Haunted Liverpool" I would imagine someone will have thought of something similar for your area or county seat.

There's a charlatan called Richard Felix who began ghost tours around Derby and Nottingham in the 1980's and now has a show on Sky TV. He makes videos and writes books on this stuff and now drives a Ferrari. Derby City Council Tourism Dept. give him free publicity by promoting his ghost tours company in council publications and on their website.

The thing is that there are no ghosts. He made it all up. My uncle has been a member of a local historical society since the 1960's and says Felix is a fraudster. Felix is a professionally trained actor and could sell sand to the arabs.

My point to you is -

Never mind finding someone who organises this stuff. Just make up your own stories then charge twelve quid a go to take a bunch of mugs around your town, feed them some stories, and bung in a sausage and mash supper at the end.

You'll be raking in so much money you won't know what to spend it on.

I used to live in that area. I remember an ex boyfriend telling me that one of his mates had seen a ghost of a whole battalion of roman soldiers and apparently his hair went white overnight. That was just as you go into the village - I think on the Wansford road.

Sure, there are loads of Derek Acorah showbiz types geting rich on faking stuff on garbage shows like Most Haunted . . . . . . but I have no doubt ghosts exist for real as well. Those peole are like the "Nigerian Princes" on the internet who would like your bank details so they can deposit millions of dollars in your account . . . . they are fakes and charlatans, but it doesn't mean there is no such thing as 4 million dollars.
Too many people with no axes to grind have seen too many things that can't be explained away by the "it's all in the mind" argument - such as when the apparition or whatever is walking on the level of where the floor used to be and using doorways and staircases that aren't there now.
I have never seen anything myself, but have always kept an open mind on the subject.
Anyone who scoffs at the existence of ghosts just because they haven't seen anything themselves is saying "you are a liar" to a hell of a lot of perfectly normal people who have experienced things and won't profit in anyway by relating those experiences.
