Hi I'm trying to find our where and when a great uncle served, I have a photo but I don't know how to upload it on to this site.......help!

scan the photo on to your computer, trying to keep the resolution lowish, then load it into a site like image shack or tinypic

It will provide you with a link; just cut and paste the link into an AB question and people will be able to click on it and see the picture. You can't load it directly onto this site.

Thanks jno, and sorry I didnt get back to you before. Realised as soon as I posted the question that you have to do it by a link...doh! Didn't know how to do that though so will follow your instructions:-)
Have already scanned the photo in using high resolution, so may have to borrow it back from my mum and re-do it, know what you mean about doing them in low resolution, had a lot of problems uploading pics onto genesreunted, cut off heads, cut off lower bodies, even one that came out as just a crotch (clothed I hasten to add!)
