Can anyone help with information on a Nazi flag?
It is approx 86cm x 46 cm, on one edge is a small stamp of the eagle over a circle enclosing a swastika beneath which is a large M. Also on this edge is " Reichsdflg. 0,5X0,85 . I have been told that it was taken from a boat but have no further information, many thanks.

M indicates that it was issued to the Reichskriegsmarine. So yes it must be from a ship .
Reichsdflg is short for Reichsdienstflagge. (service flag of the Reich ) If the eagle is above the M then it's a naval flag .
