Was told that the bermuda triangle no longer exists, is it true ? What happened ? Thanks.

It exists as long as people remember it, simple as that - it's never been an offical geographical feature.  I understand that the 'triangle' are lines drawn from Miami to Bermuda to San Juan (Puerto Rico) and back to Miami (I think)!

The weather in the triangle is notorious for changing from good to bad very quicky and is most probably the cause of all the missing ships and planes. My guess is that now that ships and planes are fitted with decent electronic navigation equipment, are more much robust and weather forecasting much more accurate,  losing aircraft/ships has ceased to be problem in the area.
It mysteriously disappeared during a storm with reports of strange lights in the sky, and no-one has seen or heard from it since.... (doo-doo-doo-doo)
