Years ago, there was a drama/documentary on television about the collision in 1893 between HMS Victoria and HMS Camperdown.  Does anyone know which channel it was on and the approximate date.  Better still, has anyone got it on tape?

According to http://www.inspired-training.com/hms%20victoria.htm it is due out early 2005!!

I know that the 1949 film Kind Hearts & Coronets starring Alec Guiness satired the accident which killed half of the 715 men on board, but I can't find evidence of any other documentaries - I even tried http://www.historychannel.com but to no avail.

Many thanks Octavius.  The one I had in mind was long ago and b/w.  I did not know about this one.

Grunty - as you were so polite....

Might it have been this:

Thanks again Octavius.  I have been looking for years.  Even tried the BBC who said they do not keep records!  Apparently Camperdown was saved by my grandfather and not by the seaman who got the credit.
