My current way for getting those dry hard stains is soaking the area in water for abit than moping it off. Sometimes though I mop it a little too soon and the stain only partially comes off the floor....

What is the point in having the water so hot you have to add cold water to make it bearable, surely that's wasting money. Adjust it so it comes out at the temperature you want. Am I correct?
