Painting a large area of concrete block walls
I would like to paint the inside of a shed to tidy it up a bit. I just need to do a quick, cheap and cheerful job. What is the best way to do it?
I have seen those paint sprayers advertised and wondered if they would be the right thing to use because I think it would take to long to do with a brush or roller. Plus I don't think I would go through as much paint.
All ideas gratefully received.
Thanks.

Your will need to brush down walls and seal before you start with finish coat. Not a cheap and chearful option, but will last. If you do want a cheap white finish - use trade emulusion, thin first coat by 20 - 50% to seal, then overcoat with neat paint till it's white enough and not showing patches.
Shivvy... B&Q are currently doing a cheap 'value' white emulsion if you decide to go with Tony's second option...

I guess it's fair-faced (unplastered) blockwork Shivvy. A 12-inch roller on a pole would be the quickest. Spraying would mean a whole lot of masking-up, and ........ rening a sprayer......... maybe use this..........

Builder - Sounds a lot but I would have guessed 50 litres (5 tubs)
Shivvy cheap paint is like cheap anything - you get what you pay for and you will not enjoy finished product.
You could try this
http://www.screwfix.c...ant-white-10ltr/33680
not the best but certainly better than a "shed" own brand paint.
just depends how cheap you want to go?
