Is there a way to bleed the air from an Aqualisa Aquastream thermostatic shower system? My shower is making an awful noise and I suspect the pump needs replacing but I keep reading on the internet that there may be an air block in the shower itself and that I should try to bleed the shower first?
I can't say that I've ever had to bleed a shower, Scrummers......... except when it's new, and you have to flush any stray bits out first.
The pump would probably be the first thing to go wrong. I would guess that's the noise you hear.
Try turning the (elec) power off, then open the shower valve to see if the flow runs ok. It's possible nothing will come out without the power on. It rather depends on how the shower is wired internally. Try that first though.
Thanks, Builder. I think it's the pump that's on the way out by the sounds of things. We had the same shower which came with the house and that lasted twice as long as this new updated version!
