Hotpoint Washing Machine (9Kg)

My daughter has a brand new one of the above which has been working fine until she moved house? now water leaks from the bottom front of the powder dispensing drawer but only during rinsing period of the wash? i have checked water pressure, filters, taken drawer out (all seeems fine clean and clear) and programme switch and programme wash itself is fine? i have also checked outlet pipe is working fine i am at a loss, any body have any experience of this and/or any ideas what might be causing it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

could it have been damaged in transit when she moved house?

I have hotpoint as well and never had a problem but as you say it is new so should still be under normal 1 year guarantee.

definately not damaged, yes in warranty but didnt want to call out if minor prob. web says could be water pressure which would explain change on moving house. Thanks for your comments danchip & wendilla.

There are normally transit bolts that should be fitted when moving it to a new address. Was this done?

If it's brand new, I wouldn't fiddle with it myself, I'd call their engineers.
