Want to paint newly built wall of breeze blocks and one answer on here suggests watered down masonary paint followed by top coat and man in shop wanting profits says stabilising solution. Is there any other cost effective ways to ensure adhesion of paint?
Hi Susan, it might work if you use emulsion watered down and then pva glue added. I am not sure of quantities. Otherwise the breeze blocks will just drink up your paint !!
Stabilising solution is used for binding loose and powdery surfaces. You don't have that. As Shedman says, you'll get a perfectly satisfactory result if you do as Carrust suggests.
