Locks For Writing Slopes?

I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

well, it's been very cod today. We are off to the Destinations Travel Show tomorrow and I will have to think about more nice places to go this year. Warm, for a start.

we got to the travel show before all the ravening hordes arrived so I was able to do a bti of ravening myself. Several chocs, mostly from Roses tins on differrent stands, some very nice baklava on a Turkish stand, and a variety of boiled sweets. Also two little tins of peppermints. So that was very successful. We also entered aabut 20 prize draws for free holidays and I brought home a bagful of brochures to exotic places. There was a man there running coach trips round Iraq and Afghanistan - we went on one of his trips in the 70s, going round the Syrian desert, but we weren't allowed to go over into Iraq because Saddam was in a snit about something. So there's still hope!

Hello BiddyFriends sorry I've been away. I've had such a lot on my mind but I'm on the mend now.
Just that I'm having a very worrying time about one of my 'ladies what lunch'. I don't want to go on but just to say she had an op for bowel cancer and is struggling a bit to get well again.
Have been getting on with things like I do but she has been on my mind a lot for a couple of weeks now.
Hope you are all keeping well and B.O.like you do. I really want to get back to chatting and being involved and I promise I will again soon. Love J x
