Look up a video on You Tube to guide you and I am sure you would be able to do it yourself and save yourself some money. It cost me £7.54 to mend my tumble dryer 3 years ago (it is still working now) by following You Tube.
Is the drive belt in place?

You will find that there is a simple plug to the motor then remove it then the 2 brushes are accessible and oly bclipped in. Easy Peasy!
Espares is an excellent scource of parts and much cheaper than appointed service outlets.
If the motor runs on spin it is not the brushes , if they were gone the motor would not run at all .
Most probable is the drive belt has snapped or just come off there are 2 belts on some machines .one from the motor itself to a pulley and one around the drum from the pulley.
