How Do You Remove Plaster Dust From Laminate Wooden Floor

Can anyone advise how to remove plaster dust from a laminate wooden floor. I have tried washing it all four times with Pledge wooden floor cleaner in water and the next day it is just as bad.

Someone said try water and vinegar. Not sure if to try this next. Any advise would be appreciated.

Confusing... if its just dust it should sweep up, if you have got it wet it should still wash off easily. are you sure it is plaster, what colour is it?

Ahhh plaster dust- awesome stuff innit?? lol

There's no secret magical one stop type of cleaning for it, just gotta keep plugging away, eventually it will all be gotten.

If whatever you plastered has yet to be 'sealed' either with wallpaper or paint, then you will continue to get dust.

Once its all 'sealed' then dust accumulation will start to decrease. I find a steam mop helps to keep it down.

I have real wood flooring not laminate but think it should work the same.
Every now and then I, well....'wax on wax off' with this

Get a colour that matches your laminate (or slightly lighter)

Im still confused, I have never had a problem moving plaster dust from any surface.

Thank you for replying. Basically I had Polytex ?? removed from the ceiling and then replastered, also the room painted. Although there were dust sheets on the laminate floor when removed loads of white dust. I hovered & as I said for the last few days tried the Pledge wooden floor cleaner and although when I finish it looks fine the next day it still is there perhaps it is a case of just doing it every day until hopefully it disappears.

If the dust isn't there one day but it is on the next then (assuming that it's not still falling from the ceiling) it must be suspended in the air within the room, and then gradually settling onto the floor.

So refreshing the air in room (by opening the doors and windows for several hours, preferably when it's windy outside) should help to get rid of the dust.
