Hang Pictures/clocks On Wall In Brand New Home.
Moving into a new property in a few weeks and would like to know what is the best method to hang pictures/clocks on a freshly plastered wall? Would drilling them and wall plugging be the best way or should i go for the adhesive no nails method? All help appreciated thanks.

get Command products in your local DIY, or similar, no need for nails or anything, they're ever so strong, I use them myself after years of nailing and drilling and then having to use polyfilla when redecorating.

Ask the builders if it's a timber frame construction. If not, then plug & screw for external walls (into masonry.)
If timber frame, then look for "studs" (timber uprights) to screw into. If they're in the wrong place, then expanding, butterfly type wallplugs for plasterboard for lightweight things such as pictures/small clocks.
"no more nails"/glue sticks wonderfully to the paint.......... then tears it right off the wall........ unless... you scrape it right back to the plasterboard.
Also........ new houses often use metal studwork for internal walls. Drill and self-tappers for these.
If anything heavy, then I'll give you another idea.
