What's the best adhesive I can buy to stick vinyl to concrete in a bathroom, and can anyone recommend a very effective white sealant for edging around loo and shower. I'd be glad of any advice, thanks.

For sealant, they're all pretty good. Just make sure you get the "sanitary" one.
This sealant is very good, suzie. It's what our regular plumber uses. Make sure that you go to a plumbers merchant for it.
Dow Corning 785 Sanitary Ware Sealant.
It doesn't dry out or crack, and it wears well.

Thankyou, Builder and bookbinder. Very helpful.
You could also consider CT-1 which is very flexible, doesn't shrink with time as silicone does and, in particular, can be applied to surfaces that are not entirely dry (as bathrooms often are). It is more expensive than most but does work - available in different colours and can be overpainted, from the likes of Keyline.
