Hi, would I be able to have a washng machine next to the kitchen sink if I have 1 carcase unit at 600mm for a 1.5 bowl sink could I have another 600mm unit next to it for an integrated washing machine or does the sink & drainer need a 1200mm cupboard to itself. I'm aware I would have to have holes drilled through for the hoses to connect to the waste pipes etc.

Thanks DIY is deffo not my thing!

If the 1.5 bowls fit over one 600mm wide unit, then there's no problem in having the draining board over a washing machine, Puss. I've done this many times.

Probably best trying again in the morning Ange.
Sorry I can't help
My sink drainer is above the space I left for a dishwasher (if I ever get around to buying one) so I think it should be possible.
I see no reason why you couldn't get away with a 600mm cabinet for the sink, with the drainer overlapping to above the washing machine.

For example the unit here only requires a minimum 500mm cabinet in a total length of 935mm.

The washing machine does need to fit UNDER the worktop height.

Agree with The Builder should be no problems
