Sticky Residue On Laminate Flooring

friend used some carpet adhesive roll to stop her rug slipping on her dark laminate floor but has left a sticky residue behind. she hasn't tried to remove it yet as she doesn't want to do any damage so asking if there is anything that wont take the surface of the flooring, tia

had a look thanx and can also see other things on the same page which might also do so gr8
I picked that one because of actually used it, so can vouch for it as safe.
I would doubt that a little spirit cleaner would damage the laminate, but try it on a hidden area first to gain confidence.
Isopropyl alcohol will harmlessly dissolve most/all adhesives which are immune to water - if you can find it (used by those who spray cars to de-grease surfaces).
Nail varnish remover or try GooGone. I bought GooGone on eBay and it is good stuff.
