Would anyone be able to recommend a paint suitable to cover a ceiling with some cracking

Would you recommend this?
I used it many years ago and it did the job covering very small cracks on a ceiling in a previous house.
Nothing wrong with Polycell products, Ric. Here's another one. a bit heavier, for badly cracked surfaces where you need to apply a thicker coat...........

I don't really want a texture finish so can I use that one with a ordinary roller to achieve a smooth finish?
Line the ceiling with 1400 grade lining paper, then emulsion.
