Hi Abers out there, as we have got lots of time on our hands currently (as we all have!), we thought we would clean the insides of our windows ... does anyone have any suggestions for the best cleaner to use ..... and what's the best sort of cloth to use - are those "e.cloths" any good? Wondered if there is solution of something that we could use instead of standard glass cleaners? Vinegar and water, perhaps .... Thanks, cheers, Chox.
I used to work in a greengrocers and all we ever used for the enormous pane of glass was a chamois leather cloth and hot water - nothing added!
Was always under the impression that vinegar should be included, but according to the shop owner, just the (rather) hot water was enough.
Thanks folks, we decided to take the bull by the horns and clean the back bedroom window - we used a couple of those e.cloths and some vinegar in water - got fantastic results ... other windows to be done in the coming days ... cheers everyone ... Chox.
I just knew there would be lots of "newspaper" afficionados...goes back in time to when there wasn't anything better.
Decent microfibre cloths are a far better alternative and Nilglass liquid cleaner if windows/glass/mirrors are REALLY grubby...it gets 100% 5-star reviews on Amazon and is fantastic on car windows, when nothing else works.
