I had to buy a replacement DVD player which is on show . The new unit is very slim ,so not that much on show .I did notice the other day that it had gained a mark to the front of the unit which at first i thought furniture polish would remove ,it didn't .As the mark is on very shiney black plastic surface i dont think i can use anything to abrasive as it will leave a shadow on a polished surface .Any ideas on how i can safely remove the mark.
Thanks

How you treat the mark depends on what caused it. I would try something non-abrasive (as you rightly say), so something like a polish comes to mind. How about a car body polish? Whatever you try, do it in a place that won't be easily noticed, if possible.
