Good Morning Valentines Day Birds!

Forgot to plug iPad into charger lastnight so was flat this morn when I went to post..... have had to wait for it to come to life to post this lol.

Woke up to MrSmow saying Happy Valentines, which is very unusual  for him - it's usually me that says it. Anyhow, he gave me a beautiful card, and present. And I had him a card hidden in bedside drawer! Plus the sun is beaming at this precise moment so a good start to the day. Dont know if these blue skies will last but fingers crossed. Tonight he will be cooking one of my favourite ever meals - it's a recipe that he does on the very rare occasions that he cooks but I love it. So so simple and quick but yummy! Involves chicken breast diced, double cream, spinach and tagliatelle (plus a few other bits). One of the very rare dishes that I could eat seconds of! Then think we might have a cheeky pudding but can't think what to have -  will see what grabs my fancy in Sainsburys later on!

Good morning Smow. Hope you have a good day and a lovely meal this evening. Weather here is okay but on the cold side.

Now I have got my MOT out of the way, it's time to start investigating insurance cover. It seems to take a long time to fill in each questionnaire for the websites but it never ceases to amaze me how much they vary. I must admit I don't go with the cheapest as usually I have never heard of them. Tend to opt for the cheapest of the ones whoI recognise. 

I must admit I would like the weather to cheer up a bit so I could get out more, but supposedly we are due some more snow shortly. Is it just me or does it seem ages since we have had any reasonable weather that you would want to spend time outdoors? We can but hope!!

Morning calda/Rosetta. No it's not just you - it's been forever! Isn't helped by the fact that we had barely any summer last year, and that it has rained almost non stop since last spring! We are all desperate for some dry weather to get outside.
