hi gas man
the fuel is kerosene the tank is 1250l pipe size is 10mm and distance is no more than 10m but all this is irrespective as i have fuel to the tiger loop at the back door.
i was wondering how to bleed the boiler pump. sory for the confusion thanks
suggie
The pipe size sounds fine to me to cope with the viscosity of Kerosene. You say you have fuel to the tiger loop so i presume you mean that it is primed. You now need to bleed the burner on the boiler. Is it a Single pipe system ? If so then Release the fuel bleed port on the manifold and place a suitable container beneath. Turn on the Central Heating Control Thermostat. Set the operating switch (or programmer) to heating and hot water and allow the burner to run through to Lockout. Wait two minutes and reset the burner control box. Repeat the procedure at least three times or until a steady stream of fuel, without air, is exhausted from the bleed port. Relock the bleed port.
