powermax boiler 155
I'm unfortunate to have a Powermax 155 boiler in my house - which is now 10yrs old. I have lived here for 3.5yrs now and have had so much trouble with it.
At this present time it is on 'LOCK OUT' AGAIN - which is about the 5th time this year alone...
This stops all hot water and heating.
My plumber (the only one in the world that i could find that will deal with them) has given up now!
I'm freezing and so fed up with it and unfortunately cannot afford a new boiler.
Has anyone every suffered the same experience with this boiler? I just don't know what to do anymore.
British Gas won't even come and look at it!
I would very much appreciate any comments.
Many thanks

my powermax 155 is doing the exact same thing, in fact its just gone to lock out as i.m typing this! and i cant fire it up again...its the 4th time tonight and its bloody snowing!
ive had 2 engineers out and they were both baffeled to what the promblem is...neither the less they still charged me to look at it and scratch their chins! so ive give up...most people wont touch them! i'm affaid the only option is a new boiler..or you could try turning the gas off and taking a large hammer to it! it wont fix it but it will make you feel alot better!!!!
