There are some I have seen at B&Q. Some rated at 1.2Watts (�9.00 for two) and another(Megaman) at 9 Watts (�9.00 each) . These will not be anywhere near as bright as even a 35W halogen lamp and they can cost a lot more.

you could try the LED version of the GU10. Try all the lcoal DIY shops and Screwfix can be quite good.

www.lyco.co.uk list a white multi LED lamp ref 70288 They claim a 30,000 hr life. In my old catalogue listed at �8.99 each,but you would need to check current prices
