Water flo to bath

When I run a bath the hot water flo runs ok for atime but slows then cuts off.I have to wait for tank to refill before any of hot water taps will run properly.Where do i start to see whats the problem.

hi hughes it sounds like your hot water cylinder is scaled up. And the cold feed to cylinder should always be 28mm feed pipe.just for interest when running a bath have a look in your cold tank ?it might be running dry
The problem is almost certainly something to do with the header tank. The ball valve in the tank is most likley to be faulty and needs replacing. Try pushing the float down in the tank and water should flow at full rate replenishing the water supply as quickly as use it. If it just trickels out then this is the problem and it needs replacing. You can repair them but for what they cost it is false economy.
