Hammer Drill problem
Hi all,
I have recently bought myself a Performance Power 850w 2 gear hammer drill. Ive just finished drilling my holes and have attempted to remove the bit from the keyless chuck. The chuck will not turn and seems to be locked with the bit still in it. Ive checked the instructions and I think Ive done everything right. Before I make an idiot of myself and return this to B&Q, can anyone think of anything im doing wrong? The manual says "pull back the rear half sleeve of chuck and grasp it with one hand , use your other hand to rotate the front half clockwise". Ive done that but the chuck will not rotate at all.

If so push it through, hold the chuck firmly with your left hand and pull the trigger. This should loosen the chuck so the bit can come out. Do this on the slowest setting.
