When you say you can't find anything in your insurance, what type of insurance do you have?
Your household insurance will only cover third party liability, e.g. someone else other than you.
There are various insurance policies to cover various risks.
If you have a mortgage to pay and work, there are policies that provide some relief to cover the mortgage costs if you cannot work.
If you are injured, the NHS funds your emergency treatment - or you may invest in Health Insurance for a broader scope of cover on medical costs.
What cost incurred by you would you want the insurance to cover the risk on? - it isn't often people want a sum of money just for the sheer inconvenience factor of, say, breaking an arm.
my wife tripped over our dog and broke her leg, 6 days in hospital, 2 months off work on sick pay..
we went through all our policies house, injury, dog etc...all she got was 100.00 from a sickness/injury policy..
............... plus two months of sick pay - an 'insurance scheme' of sorts.
