Amateur DIY help here
Hello. I took the decision to renovate my house entirely but choose to face my fear head-on and get down and dirty with DIY. I once feared dirt under the fingernails and that noise a scraper creates when scratched against plaster! Not any more. I knew nothing about DIY but while doing a little bit of work I picked up ideas and enough knowledge to provide me with the confidence to do as much work as possible to reduce the amount I spend on professionals. I realised that will little brain-power and a lot of elbow grease*, one can save an awful lot of money and develop a fantastic sense of achievement. I'm inviting you to my blog where I'll document the development of my house providing tips and advice to the millions of like-minded amateur DIY artists out there.

I spent hours upon hours - it was hacking off woodchip wallpaper as it happens - and to largely keep me sane, I conjured the idea to document what I was doing while explaining the techniques and tips I leanrt along the way. It's a fantastic resource tool for those out there doing a similar job. That's all you cynical bunch!
I admit I'm slightly obsessed about my house but it's much more fun than my job and I get to do the blogging during working hours, so great.
Anyway, it's up to you if you read it.

This is such a great idea! It kind of reminds of me another DIY blog that I like to read except he has DIY ideas, tips, and reviews on a variety of projects. To start off, I recommend reading this review: http:// www.pap erdonut .com/te ds-wood working -review / so you can see what I mean.
