Taking the tiles off the bathroom.
Just about to embark on this task and wondered if anyone knew the easiest and quickest way to get them off. Everyone says it an awful job and just wondered if anyone had any tips. Thanks.

No qualms with any of the above. Just to add - if it is a plasterboard wall on studwork, it is far easier to strip the whole surface of tiles AND plasterboard. Whilst this might sound drastic, plasterboard is cheap as chips, and since you are retiling on the surface afterwards, the appearance doesn't matter if it is flat. Prime the plasterboard before affixing new tiles.

Thanks for all your answers. Hubby on the job wearing goggles and also a dust mask. You werent joking about all the dust Zaksmaster. Went the lump hammer an chisel route in the absence of drill thingy. The plasterboard has completely crumbled away with the tiles so had no choice but to remove it all. The surface under it is not brick but very porous plastery stuff so will see what tiler wants us to do next week. Thanks again for all your answers, They were all very helpful.
