I have to cut a radius onto the corner of a worktop that covers a work unit that has a round corner approx 125mm rad.. and the front edge of the worktop (laminated) has a radius of 19 mm i have the iron on strip to cover what i cut off but should i use a jigsaw and have a nice flat face to stick the edging onto or should i use a 19mm router and blend the radius around the corner but if i do the later will the edging iron on ok?

The iron-on strip will normally be too stiff to attach to the 19mm curved front edge of the worktop - it'll normally only adhere to a flat surface, so the jigsaw looks like the answer. But...Using a jigsaw is unlikely to give you a sufficiently smooth cut. I'd get a joiner or kitchen fitter to make a professional corner cut using a router with a worktop cutting bit, and a radial jig.

yes i was thinking along those lines myself.. i could get them to fix on the strip aswell.. thanks
Hi sammmo, to put on the edging strip warm it up slightly and you will find it will go around most bends easily. To attach it instead of ironing it in place why dont you try some evo-stick contact adehsive this will be a lot stronger. Just make sure you follow the instructions for ventilation. Once on the smell goes quite soon afterwards. Good luck.
